The Rail Flyte Coupling is specifically designed for efficient, spill-free refuelling in rail service depots. With a 1.5” BSP female threaded inlet, it connects easily to standard refuelling hoses used across the rail sector.
This coupling features a screw-type dry disconnect / dry-break valve for safe, controlled fuel transfers. An easy-to-replace inner cartridge is housed within a high-impact steel body, protected by a corrosion-resistant coating and surrounded by a fuel-resistant outer bumper that helps safeguard train bodywork.
A forged steel “driving wheel” handle ensures precise control for the operator, while the modular cartridge design enables quick servicing and minimal downtime. Its universal compatibility makes it suitable as a direct replacement for existing couplings across various brands.
Installation is straightforward with a unique hex socket fitting that allows for quick assembly using standard tools—no special equipment required. The inner cartridge can be accessed easily using a spanner, allowing rapid maintenance or replacement on-site.
Compatible with both diesel, HVO and B100 biodiesel, the unit’s Viton seals ensure full resistance to all current and emerging fuel blends.
