The SGB ÜVP218 is a portable pressure-vacuum pump for creating vacuum or positive pressure in large interstitial spaces, including those found in flat-bottom and cylindrical tanks as well as long pipework runs. It is intended to support the installation and testing of leak-detection monitoring spaces where high air flow is required.
It is worth noting that the integral pressure or vacuum pumps inside some SGB Leak detection units MUST NOT be used to prime the interstitial spaces with the required initial pressure/vacuum for the leak detectors to run - this pump unit is therefore an important part of any technicians equipment when commissioning or maintaining SGB leak detection systems
The pump is supplied on a tubular frame with carrying handle and includes a condensate trap, liquid stop valve, shut-off cock and two pressure gauges. A pressure reducer is fitted in the pressure line to support controlled operation.
